Bosque de Matasnos is at an altitude of 950 metres above sea level, almost at the limit of vine production in this area. As such, it does great credit to its location in the highlands of Ribera del Duero.
In fact, the area is also known and recognised as Ribera Alta. Something that represents much more than a nuance and that transmits character.
Extreme temperatures, risk of frost, late harvests… All of this has its reward in the fruit, and that is why it is difficult to produce quantities, but the quality is extraordinary.

Bosque de Matasnos
At Bosque de Matasnos we like to share excellence, but we prefer to do it on a small scale. That means, we produce little because the extraordinary is scarce, it is very limited.
Small-scale, limited production is as special as the care we take in selecting the world’s best restaurants, shops and other outlets.
It is a honour and a huge responsibility to be at extraordinary places that have put their trust in us and to whom we owe a lot – a lot!
