"Origen" Wine Tourism Experience
During our “Origen” experience, you’ll enjoy a tour of our unique forest, which embodies the essence of Bosque de Matasnos, as well as a visit to our winery. You’ll also taste two of our wines (red and white).
There is a second option available where, in addition to everything mentioned above, you can also enjoy an appetizer of cured pork loin or cheese.
Wine Tourism Experience "Essence of Matasnos"
Our most special experience. Guided by the CEO of Bosque de Matasnos, you will explore the estate and discover this pioneering project in the Ribera del Duero Highlands.
The day includes a traditional menu featuring local products from Peñaranda de Duero, paired with a selection of our wines.

Our real commitment
- Energy self-sufficiency: We produce 100% of our electricity using solar panels.
- Integrated water management: We collect, biologically treat, and reuse all our wastewater (grey and black), ensuring it is not discharged externally.
- Closed-loop waste management: We compost our own sheep manure and other manure to regenerate the soil; everything we extract from the land returns to it as nutrients.
Biodiversity as an ally
- Forest as a green filter: our forest prevents external activities from contaminating the vineyard, creating a natural refuge for native flora and fauna.
- Biological control and beekeeping: we are the first winery to reintroduce birds of prey, such as the European Scops owl; in addition, bees serve as natural pest control and bioindicators of environmental health.
- Regenerative grazing: sheep keep the forest clean while generating compost.
